FlowMoose for teams.
Voice dictation that never leaves the laptop.
FlowMoose runs entirely on each user’s Mac. Audio is never sent to a server, never transcribed in the cloud, never stored by us. For regulated teams, that’s the point.
Voice in. Text out. Nothing in between.
Most voice dictation tools require sending audio to a cloud transcription service. For legal, healthcare, finance, and executive teams, that’s a non-starter. FlowMoose transcribes locally on each user’s Mac using a self-hosted Whisper model and an on-device LLM, then pastes the result into whatever app they were focused on. No cloud, no telemetry on dictation content, no data-handling questions for procurement to escalate.
Built for teams that can’t send audio to the cloud.
- LEGALPrivileged client dictations stay on the laptop. No cloud transcription, no audit-trail risk.
- HEALTHCAREOn-device transcription works around HIPAA-friendly constraints. No PHI leaves the device.
- FINANCERecordkeeping rules without sending audio to a third-party processor.
- EXECUTIVE OFFICESStrategy meetings, partner calls, board prep — captured locally, never broadcast.
- ACCESSIBILITYVoice input that respects employer infosec policies. No carve-outs needed.
The data flow, in plain terms.
- Your audio never leaves the laptop.
- No cloud transcription. No third-party speech-to-text service.
- No telemetry on dictation content.
- Self-hosted Whisper for transcription, on-device LLM for cleanup.
- Your compliance team can verify the data flow via the privacy policy.
FlowMoose is built and operated by LeanBytes UG, a German company. We don’t make categorical claims about your specific compliance requirements (those depend on your jurisdiction and use case). The technical facts above are what your compliance team evaluates against.

Frequently asked questions
How is Teams pricing structured?
Pricing scales with seat count and starts at 5 seats. Volume discounts kick in at higher seat counts. Email teams@leanbytes.io with your team size and we’ll send a quote within 1 business day.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
FlowMoose runs on each user’s laptop and we don’t process dictation content on our servers. Whether your jurisdiction or use case requires a DPA from us depends on your specific data flows. Tell us about your situation and we’ll send what your compliance team needs (or confirm in writing why a DPA isn’t applicable to the dictation flow).
Can we deploy across our team without admin tooling?
Yes. FlowMoose installs as a standard Mac app on each user’s machine. There isn’t a centralised admin dashboard in this version — license keys are distributed manually by us when you buy. For larger teams that need MDM-friendly installation or named-license tracking, tell us your scale and we’ll work out the details.
Do you offer named licenses for procurement?
Yes. Every license can be assigned to a named user for procurement and audit purposes. License reassignment when a team member leaves is handled by us on request — no self-serve admin tooling yet, but the manual flow works end-to-end for the team sizes we’re currently serving.
Which Mac models are supported?
FlowMoose runs on any Mac with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Intel Macs are not supported in the current version.
What happens if a team member’s license lapses?
Each license follows the same fallback structure as individual FlowMoose: after 12 months of continuous paid subscription, that user keeps the version of FlowMoose that was current at their anniversary, on that machine, indefinitely. New features shipped after the lapse require a renewed subscription. If a user leaves the team before the 12-month mark, the seat returns to the team’s pool.
How does billing work?
Single annual invoice covering the team’s seat count. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record (handles VAT and tax compliance). Renewal is annual with a billing reminder ahead of the renewal date.
